Sam’s focus is on helping you heal and manage painful emotions and overwhelming thoughts. She can teach you to cope with stressful life events and break unhealthy habits. Loneliness, chronic worry, tumultuous relationships or binge eating may be areas of focus. Knowing these feelings and behaviors can be difficult to talk about, Sam offers free 30-minute consultations so you may gently explore the benefits of therapy.

Professional Experience

As a therapist with six years of counseling experience, including extensive work with teens and young adults, finding practical and individualized techniques that provide immediate relief is Sam’s priority. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor working from a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy approach. She received her M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Buffalo in 2012, Licensure in 2014 and Dialectical Behavior Therapy Certification in 2018.
